1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using parles (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Description of Service

parles is an AI-powered memory chatbot accessible via Telegram. The Service allows you to save, organize, and retrieve personal information through text and voice messages. The Service includes a website for account management, subscription handling, and memory browsing.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and API key. You must provide accurate information and be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Subscription & Billing

The Service offers free and paid plans. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to store illegal content, transmit malware, infringe on intellectual property rights, harass or harm others, attempt to reverse-engineer the Service, or circumvent usage limits. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, its design, code, and branding are owned by parles. You retain full ownership of the content you store through the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

7. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We process your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable data protection laws.

8. Service Availability & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy and data retention schedule.

10. Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Paris, France, unless you are a consumer entitled to the courts of your place of residence under applicable EU law.
